Roman glass is comprised of pieces of glass found in the Middle East that dates back to Roman times.  The glass features a unique patina over the glass that is made from the minerals in the soil.  Each piece of glass is unique and the patina is different on each piece. 

This lovely Roman glass piece has a yellow tint with a nice coating of patina.  The setting has an artistic cutout design that lets the beauty of the piece shine through.  The sterling setting has a light oxidation.
